General FAQ
How do I qualify as a mentor on BullMentor?
To qualify, you must have been profitable for 6+ months (Newcomer), 1+ year (Pro), or 2+ years (Expert). Profitability has to be given in 2/3 of all months applicable and you have to be net positive over the total applicable timespan.
Do I have to live in the US to qualify as a mentor?
Yes. While we plan to expand internationally in the future, we currently only accept applications from US residents.
What happens after I get approved?
After you get approved, you can set up your mentor profile and be found by traders on the BullMentor platform.
How much should I charge for sessions?
Mentors set their own rates, which vary based on experience and preferences. A typical 30-minute session usually ranges anywhere from $20-$100.
Can I keep all of my income?
Mentors keep 80% of the income earned from sessions. BullMentor retains a standard 20% platform fee to cover the costs of facilitating bookings, processing secure payments, maintaining the platform, and continuing to enhance its features.
Please be aware of additional tax implications. While you are responsible for handling your taxes, BullMentor provides an annual summary of your earnings to support you with your tax filing.
Is any of my personal information shared with anyone?
No. We value the privacy of our mentors and hence do not share sensitive information such as full names, trades, or profits.

How long does the application process take?
We aim to process applications within 2-5 business days.
Why do you need my broker statements?
At BullMentor, we verify mentor profitability via broker statements. This allows us to create trust among our community of traders while also providing a simple approach that we all benefit from. Please note that applications with missing or manipulated statements cannot be processed.
What happens to my broker statements?
Broker statements are only used for verfication. We don’t store your statements and your statements are never shared with anyone else.
I'm not comfortable with sending my broker statements. Are there alternatives to verify my profitability?
We offer applicants the opportunity to walk us through their live broker account in a call instead of sending statements. If you would like to utilize this option, please indicate it in your application.
I don't have recent broker statements. Can I use older ones?
No. We require statements from the past two years. Our traders expect their mentors to be active traders with recent track records.
I trade with a prop firm account and don't have access to broker statements. How can I verify my profitability?

I'm a forex trader - can I use Myfxbook to verify my profitability?
While you’re welcome to use Myfxbook as a verification tool, please note that we require the following for approval via this option:
- Live account
- Track Record Verified
- Trading Privileges Verified
- Screenshot from your Myfxbook dashboard showing the full account name
I'm a crypto trader - can I use my DEX wallet to verify my profitability?
We currently only allow profitability verification through Centralized Exchanges (CEXs) that provide official account statements or reports. At this time, we do not accept Decentralized Exchange (DEX) wallet submissions for profitability verification.
